You know that feeling you get when you come into some money - tax refund, bonus at work - only to find out the air conditioning in your car needs to be replaced? You want to throw up your hands and give up.

You know as you watch the old woman pushing her grocery cart through the intersection that as soon as she gets in front of you that the light's going to turn green and everyone else will be going...but you. Because that's just how the world works.

You know when you're at the store that logic tells you to get in the line with one customer as opposed to the register with three people in a line. You also know when you get in that line that one customer is going to take four times as long as the three people in the other line and the four people who check out after them.

You know that love seems to work for everybody else but not for you.
